Founded in 2015, Start Right Tutoring began with a simple yet powerful vision: to transform education through personalized, peer-based learning. What started as a grassroots effort to tutor a handful of students soon evolved into a response to a much larger need. When the COVID-19 pandemic struck in 2020, it exposed deep flaws in the traditional education system, leaving millions of students struggling to keep up academically. This turning point pushed us to reimagine how tutoring could better serve students in a changing world.
By 2021, we fully embraced the transition to a virtual platform, offering students the flexibility to learn wherever and whenever they needed. Our commitment is to provide tailored academic plans that adapt to individual learning styles, supported by high-achieving peer tutors who understand the challenges their students face. We integrate cutting-edge technology, including AI-driven tools, to enhance the learning experience, making it more interactive, accessible, and effective. Pierre Ingram is the CEO and Founder of Start Right Tutoring and a senior at the University of Houston, pursuing a B.S. in Computer Science. His passion for technology began early, inspiring him to start a tutoring business before high school to help friends improve their grades. Now, with a strong coding background and a keen interest in the intersection of education and technology, Pierre aims to integrate AI into tutoring models, enhancing learning experiences and giving back to the educational community through an innovative, tech-driven solution.
